I work freelance for a Danish TV station in Brussels. As a freelancer, I primarily work on producing features for TV 2 where I come up with ideas for reportages, research stories, do interviews and edit the footage. I go critically to any story and interview, no matter who the main source is.

I started working as a journalist in connection with the terrorist attacks in Brussels in 2016. Since then, I have written and organized features for TV 2 Nyhederne and TV 2 News about current news from Belgium, the Council of Ministers and EU summits, taken part in covering parliamentary elections in several European countries and been on reportage trips with TV 2 around Europe. On these trips, I have organized and produced several background and community reports with local sources, for example in Hungary, Malta and Calais during the refugee crisis, after the terrorist attacks in Paris, on the 100th anniversary of the end of the First World War in Flanders and the Black Lives Matter movement’s showdown with Belgium’s controversial colonial past.

I also have extensive experience working as a ‘fixer’ for foreign TV networks in Belgium and the Netherlands. I have a large network in both countries, I speak fluent Dutch and follow the news closely in both countries. You are welcome to contact me anytime for cooperation within this field.
